Friday December 4th was National Portrait Day, a call for photographers to give back to the community by lending their expertise to take portraits of disadvantaged people that otherwise would not have the chance to have their picture taken. Above, I'm photographing elementary school kids, so the children will have a present for their parents on Christmas Day. Donating time, prints, and frames to put a smile on someone's face is priceless! I was so happy to be able to do something for others.
That's awesome! I'm glad we as photographers are able to give back to the community.
